Star Trek Discovery - SPOILERS

I will be watching the show on Kodi lol… as for him being captain i’m confused because not to long ago they said a woman would be playing the main character… unless this show is not a typical Star Trek and the captain is not the main character.

Here is what the cast will look like at least in real life.

Jason Isaacs is a good addition to the show. He was such a bastard in The Patriot. I’m worried he’s going to bite the bullet early since the show’s main character is Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha).

Well there is a rumor I saw in this article that there are two ships early on.

No return to Star Trek for Mr. Dorn.

I still say screw this with paying for a sub to CBS. Such a pisser they are going to sucker in Star Trek fans to pay for their stupid service.

So the rest of the world gets this on Netflix. That’s fucked up.

I’ll wait a year if it came to Netflix over paying for this, this actually pisses me off.

They are using Star Trek to try to gain suckers I mean subscribers.

Yeah… I’m a fan and would watch but I ain’t paying for another sub

Just watched the first 2 episodes and I’m really liking it. It’s definitely a different vibe that previous Star Treks. We’ll see how the season progresses but it’s like they mixed in some Battlestar Galactica. It’s a lot darker and will focus on the Federation / Klingon War.

Anyone else catch this?

Not yet but want to /need too

I will watch it at some point but will never pay CBS a fucking dime with how they are doing this show.

So what’s the deal…i know the first episode was on TV…are the rest all pay to access now or are they eventually ending up on Netflix?

God this pisses me off.

It’s only on CBS’s streaming service. Released weekly after the first 2 episodes. Stupid way to start a new series. I expect this series to be heavily pirated.

Yet it’s on Netflix UK. Assholes.

I stream it through my Android box. Fuck paying.

I watched the first episode. Not impressed. It’s very “girl power” and the technology timeline doesn’t add up. I’ll check out the second episode eventually.

Also, why do the Klingons look like weird Orcs?

No idea. Bigger budget for special effects? They don’t look like Warf.

The 2nd episode is worth a watch. It was pretty exciting.

Even if they still have the Captain and First Officer go on away missions. Doesn’t The Federation have special forces to handle that shit??? That’s probably my biggest beef.
