Minecraft Dungeons

If you like Diablo, then you will like this game.
It is Diablo lite, but still a great dungeon crawler game.
GamePass people, you get it, download it.
Get some other GRG member to group up for something new to play.

It looks like screenshots for two of the planned DLCs for Minecraft Dungeons have leaked online ahead of their official announcements. Reddit user u/zozozrobv2 posted what appears to be images of two new areas in the game.

The two DLCs are reportedly titled, “Creeping Winter” and “Jungle Awakens”. Judging from the screenshots, it looks like the two add some new areas to explore and different enemy types. Although nothing has been confirmed officially, the areas shown in the screenshots do not appear in the main game as far as we’ve seen, so it’s definitely possible that these could be upcoming DLCs.

Mojang has already confirmed that two DLCs will be coming to Minecraft Dungeons at a later date. Purchasing the Hero Edition of the game grants you access to both of these and a bunch of other skins.

Minecraft Dungeons launched yesterday and is included in both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. We really enjoyed playing through the Minecraft spin-off and in our Minecraft Dungeons review, we noted that although it was a little basic in some areas, the game still put up a tough challenge.

You can by the Hero Pack DLC pass now for $10, and it will work with the GamePass version of the game. Right now you just get a chicken pet, 2 new skins and a cloak.
Not sure if the DLC will be part of the GP version or not.
Playing this really makes me want to get back into Diablo again.

Is this an add on to regular Minecraft? @SoulessGrimm is a Minecraft whore.

No, this is a game separate from Minecraft, but set in that universe with looks only.

Minecraft Dungeons’ first DLC launches in July, cross-platform play update coming soon

Jungle Awakens has been confirmed as the first DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, and it will launch in July. Mojang has also announced that cross-platform play is coming soon to the dungeon crawler.

Previously leaked online to Reddit, Jungle Awakens will send players off to a distant jungle to fight a new “mysterious power” via three new missions. There’s a bunch of new weapons, armour and artefacts to discover and some new enemies to tackle including the Leapleafe, Jungle Zombie Poison Quill Vine and more. Unfortunately, no word has been given on new achievements for the DLC or price, but those with the Hero Edition will get access to Jungle Awakens for no extra cost. Mojang has confirmed the title of the second DLC, Creeping Winter, that will launch later this year.

Cross-platform play is coming to Minecraft Dungeons as part of a free update. Over on the Minecraft website, Mojang said, “The team is also working on adding cross-platform play functionality and cool new free content for Minecraft Dungeons that everyone will receive. We’ll come back with more details in the coming weeks.”

Minecraft Dungeons launched last week and is available to play through Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. If you’re curious to find out what all the fuss is about, check out our Minecraft Dungeons review where we highly praised the dungeon crawling spin-off.
