Gears 5 Early Access Players Will Be Getting Compensation for the Weekend's Server Issues

Many TrueAchievements players picked up Xbox Game Pass Ultimate so they could start ticking off those Gears 5 Achievements ahead of the pack – only to find that the game’s overwhelmed servers were unable to keep up. The fact that even the solo campaign seemed to need a server connection only made things more frustrating. Most of those issues appear to have been cleaned up, though with the full launch of the game today it remains to be seen whether they will take another dip. In the meantime, The Coalition want to thank early access players for their patience with a couple of in-game rewards.

As a token of our
appreciation for your patience and support during this weekend’s Early
Access, we’re awarding 5 days of Boost (Faster progression) and 600
scrap (Craft Skills or Supply cards). Look out for it in the next 48

Thank you so much playing Gears

At the time of writing, these two extras haven’t appeared in the office but as above, we should expect to see them in the next 48 hours.
