Cyberpunk 2077 Roundup Update: Multiplayer Confirmed

Update: CD Projekt Red have today confirmed that multiplayer is in the works for Cyberpunk 2077. They emphasise that the game we’re getting in 2020 will still be single player, and that after it’s launched, it will be followed up by free DLCs, as well as single player content. Once this is all out, they’ll “invite you for some multiplayer action”. Previously, CDPR had confirmed that multiplayer was in the research and development stage, but now it’s definitely “in the works”.

1/2 Until now,
the only thing we said about multi was that it was in R&D. As
we’re getting closer to launching ‘single player’ Cyberpunk 2077 in Apr.
2020, we’d like to confirm that multiplayer’s in the works! If

2/2 The plan for
now is to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 in April, then follow up with DLCs
(free!) and single player content, and — once we’re done — invite you
for some multiplayer action.
