Infinity Ward has reversed its somewhat controversial decision to remove bounty contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone. Earlier this week, Bounties were replaced with the Most Wanted contract — a pick-up that highlights you on the map for five minutes. Survive, and you earn a re-deployment for your fallen squad and a hefty amount of cash.
It seems that players weren’t happy with the switch, and despite being announced in the game’s most recent patch notes, the change came as a surprise to some players. The Most Wanted contract slowed the pace of the game down. Players would camp and hide-out until the five-minute timer was up. Now, in a new update pushed last night, Infinity Ward has removed the Most Wanted contracts and replaced them with Bounties.
