A Small COD update yesterday

Infinity Ward has released a new game settings update for Modern Warfare and Warzone on PS4, Xbox One, and PC to fix some bugs across the game.

The new playlist update has also removed Most Wanted Contracts and added back in Regular Bounty contracts in Warzone.

Here’s the full list of changes:

Playlist Update

  • Fix for Gunsmith Custom loadouts not appearing in matches
  • Removing Most Wanted Contracts from Warzone and adding Bounty Contracts back
  • Adjusting the timer from 10 to 15 seconds in 3v3 Cranked Gunfight
  • Adjusting out of bounds timer in Infected
  • Adjusting the match start timer in Infected so players can join before the Infected countdown ends.
  • Fix for a bug where players could get stuck during the infil while loading into a BR match

Infinity Ward has reversed its somewhat controversial decision to remove bounty contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone. Earlier this week, Bounties were replaced with the Most Wanted contract — a pick-up that highlights you on the map for five minutes. Survive, and you earn a re-deployment for your fallen squad and a hefty amount of cash.

It seems that players weren’t happy with the switch, and despite being announced in the game’s most recent patch notes, the change came as a surprise to some players. The Most Wanted contract slowed the pace of the game down. Players would camp and hide-out until the five-minute timer was up. Now, in a new update pushed last night, Infinity Ward has removed the Most Wanted contracts and replaced them with Bounties.

How about fix finding games. The last patch sort of fucked that all up.

This video completely explains it. FUCKING PATCH AND SERVERS SUCK. Warzone is a mess. We tried a few games and it just stutters and lags in any conflict. I tried one solo and the game would just pause every 20 seconds or so.

One can hope. Then be thoroughly disappointed as usual.

Halo it is then!
